Noxura overview

Noxura is a Wear OS watch face background inspired by the quiet magic of a rain-soaked city street after dark. Built in a crisp retro pixel art style with a strict limited palette, it brings the atmosphere of neon-lit urban nights directly to your wrist. The scene centers on a rain-slicked street at night, rendered entirely in sharp pixel art with no anti-aliasing and clean square edges. Wet asphalt fills the lower half of the composition, alive with shimmering pixel reflections of glowing storefront signs. Lime green neon lettering bounces off the pavement in wavy columns of bright green and teal pixels, rippling across the dark surface like light on water. Narrow building facades and storefronts line both sides of the street, their windows casting warm amber and muted orange light that bleeds softly into cool grey fog above. Lime green neon tubes trace awning edges and rooftop outlines, cutting vivid electric accents against the deep charcoal and dark slate atmosphere. Tiny pixel raindrops streak diagonally through the air, catching light as pale cyan specks drifting through the scene. Despite the rain, the mood is unexpectedly warm and cozy. Glowing shop interiors suggest shelter and comfort, while pale grey pixel wisps of steam drift upward from street vents. The overall palette remains dark and moody, punctuated by intimate pools of warm light that give the scene a restful, lived-in feeling. The composition is centered for a circular crop, with calm corner areas and a subtly open mid-zone designed to keep time and overlay elements fully readable. Noxura is made for people who find comfort in the hum of a city after dark.
