Crisp Note Nest overview

Crisp Note Nest is a straightforward note-taking app built for people who want to capture ideas fast and find them even faster. Everything runs locally on your device — no accounts, no syncing, no subscriptions. Notes are organized through a combination of customizable folders and color-coded tags. You can create as many folders as you need, nest your notes however makes sense to you, and apply multiple tags to any note for flexible cross-referencing. The full-text search works across all note content, titles, and tags simultaneously. Filters let you narrow results by folder, label color, or tag combination, so you can locate any note within seconds regardless of how large your collection grows. The editor itself is clean and distraction-free. Text input is immediate — open the app, tap New Note, and start writing. No loading screens between you and your thought. Color-coded labels make it easy to visually scan your note list at a glance. Assign a label color to a note or an entire folder to create a visual hierarchy that matches how your brain categorizes information. All data is stored entirely on your device. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. No login screen, no email address required, no trial period.
