WHOears overview

WHOears is a pure-tone-based psychoacoustic app for auditory assessment, research, and educational use. It is designed to be used with compatible audio hardware in quiet, controlled environments by trained users following the in-app instructions. The app provides a structured step-by-step workflow to support: • device setup and configuration prior to testing, • pure-tone-based auditory procedures, • consistent use in controlled acoustic conditions, • research and educational listening tasks. WHOears provides results for research or informational purposes only. Important: WHOears is not a medical device and does not provide any diagnosis or treatment. Its results are not intended to be used for medical diagnosis or to replace, under any circumstances, a comprehensive hearing evaluation by a qualified professional.
