Beraya: Family Gatherings overview

Some relatives stop coming because returning hospitality feels unaffordable. Beraya helps an extended family gather again without turning care into a visible money table. Start with the morning spread. Three large meal numbers show how many mouths to prepare for at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Under each meal, see what is covered and what is still needed. People rarely arrive for every meal. Beraya treats each meal separately, learns from earlier attendance, and prepares a useful cooking range from uncertain answers such as "maybe" or "later." The host uses one plain-language choice to balance leftovers against waste. Food and practical help sit side by side at the same size. A main dish, carrying serving pots, minding children, fetching an elder, cooking on the day, and washing up all count as ordinary parts of the gathering. Each household chooses what it can manage. Beraya blurs those answers, samples among fair workable plans, and separates a public role from its underlying cost. The family sees only a natural gathering plan, while the app reports the achieved privacy bound for that plan. Register interest in another gathering without becoming the person who asked. Record a journey already happening and match it with medicine, a school item, or clothing along the same route. Add relatives who do not use smartphones as full proxy households. Plan a calmer second sitting for elders with its own headcount and food coverage. Pass a hosting invitation without giving a reason. Carry an encrypted update between family phones by QR when connection is unavailable. Beraya records pooled intentions but never holds or moves money.
