AAWireless, the leading maker of wireless Android Auto adapters, has quietly raised the prices of its latest dongles. The company’s popular AAWireless TWO and TWO+ models are now listed at higher prices on both AAWireless’ own store and on Amazon.
The more basic AAWireless TWO, which provides wireless Android Auto connectivity, is now priced at $64.99 on the manufacturer’s site. That restores the adapter to the pricing it had when it first launched, after a temporary discount was applied following the introduction of the TWO+ model. Amazon is showing the same price for this model at the time of writing.
The AAWireless TWO+, which supports both wireless Android Auto and CarPlay, has also increased in price. On AAWireless’ storefront the TWO+ now lists for $69.99, up by $5 compared to its launch price. Retail listings on Amazon are slightly higher, currently around $74.99. The gap between direct and retail pricing has been a pattern for some months, and the Amazon listing represents one of the highest retail prices for these dongles in recent memory.
To put these changes in perspective, the original AAWireless model launched at a significantly higher price point before later receiving a large discount. The TWO and TWO+ have generally been seen as affordable options for drivers who want a wireless connection for Android Auto or the flexibility to use both Android Auto and CarPlay, so shifts in their pricing tend to attract attention among users considering a purchase.

We contacted AAWireless for comment about the recent price adjustments. While the company hasn’t provided a detailed statement, the likely cause is broader supply chain and component cost pressures—sometimes referred to in industry conversations as “RAMageddon”—which have affected pricing for a wide range of electronics. Even products that are relatively small and low-power can see their costs increase when memory, components, or logistics become more expensive, and those increases typically get passed on to consumers.
For shoppers, that means the best time to buy depends on whether you prioritize the lowest possible price or specific features. The AAWireless TWO remains the most budget-friendly option for users who only need wireless Android Auto. The TWO+ offers the added flexibility of supporting both Android Auto and CarPlay, which can be useful for households with multiple device types or for users who plan to switch phones. Comparing direct and retail listings is still recommended, since the two channels sometimes show different prices.
Beyond price, potential buyers should consider compatibility with their vehicle’s head unit and any ongoing firmware updates from AAWireless. The company has iterated on its adapters over time, improving stability and adding features, and those software updates can meaningfully affect the user experience. If you already own an AAWireless device, keep an eye on official firmware releases, and if you’re buying one now, check whether the seller provides recent firmware information or support documentation.
