One of the most talked-about design elements revealed in the teaser is a circular lighting feature next to the rear camera array, which many sources have nicknamed “Pixel Glow.” Rather than a long light strip, the circular glow sits where the flashlight would normally be positioned—just to the right of the camera bar. This ring is capable of displaying a wide range of colors and appears to serve both aesthetic and functional roles, such as notifications or system status indicators. In the short clip, the light even animates in a manner reminiscent of classic system activity indicators, calling attention when the operating system or an app needs the user’s notice.
Google is also promoting an exclusive offer tied to the Pixel 11 launch. Customers who sign up for marketing emails from the Google Store during the specified promotion window will receive a promotional code and early purchase information.
