The build arrives as CP21.260330.011 (up from CP21.260330.008) and officially carries the May 2026 security bulletin. The update appears in two variants: CP21.260330.011.A1 for Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, Pixel 7, and 7 Pro, and CP21.260330.011 for other eligible Pixel models.

Earlier in April, Google indicated that Beta 4 was the final scheduled beta in this release cycle. That announcement did not rule out small follow-up patches like this .1 release, which target regressions and usability problems discovered during the late beta period. The Beta 4.1 release notes list several specific fixes implemented in this build:
- Fixed a status bar display bug that sometimes showed zero signal bars even when connectivity was active. This resolved an inconsistency between actual network state and the visual indicator.
- Resolved a synchronization issue in the Quick Settings UI where the mobile data icon could remain shown as active while the device was in Airplane mode. This fix improves visual consistency and avoids confusing status indicators.
- Addressed a problem that could cause external displays to go black when high-resolution output was selected. The update improves stability when using external displays at higher resolutions.
- Corrected a Bluetooth audio routing issue that could result in silence after system interruptions, such as timers or other brief interruptions to audio playback. This change restores reliable audio resumption for Bluetooth devices following interruptions.
- Fixed an issue affecting hearing aid accessories, where some devices would be automatically removed from paired devices after periods of inactivity or after charging. The update prevents hearing aids from being forgotten unexpectedly and improves long-term pairing reliability.
This Beta 4.1 release is intended for testers who remain on Android 17 Beta 4 and have not yet moved to Android 17 QPR1 beta builds. Factory images and over-the-air (OTA) images for Beta 4.1 are available now for those who want to manually update or sideload the package. Existing Beta 4 participants can sideload the OTA image to receive the patch if the automatic OTA has not yet appeared for their device.
Devices enrolled in the Android Beta for Pixel program that meet the eligibility criteria will receive the Beta 4.1 update over the air.
As with any beta release, users should expect incremental changes focused on stability and bug resolution rather than new features.
